David's book, Unmentionables, is an historical novel about two pairs of lovers in the Civil War south. Unmentionables was described by Kindle Nation Daily as "Gone with the Wind" meets "Brokeback Mountain." It is available from Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

David's spouse is the painter James Stephens.
