My first trip to Europe and Africa was in late February 2010. During those days I was in Madrid when I received the news that an earthquake took place in Chile.
Unable to communicate with my family and friends, watching
devastating images on TV, I had to make the decision to continue my trip to Marrakesh, Moroccan ancestral city, cradle of tourism and trade in that country.
This photo book reflects my state of uncertainty of not knowing what I would find in Morocco and not knowing anything about how was my house after the earthquake.
The journey of the photographer who invaded by sensations, smells, textures, flavors and faces from another culture, of a continent never visited before, meets the host of a people kind to the stranger finding the beauty in every corner of their cities until finally I get a message telling me... do not worry, we are all OK...
