As an outsider on the inside of the military establishment, the author attempts to show a different side of the military from his own perspective. As a reservist, spending 100 days on active duty during the summer of 2012, "Summer Job" represents a body of work that explores the contradictions of the military, and the lighter side of its inner workings.
