Disciplined as a child for taking photos of the city rather than her family, we follow the narrator's shunned photography through a hidden scrapbook, kept for decades. From the 1920's through to the mid 1980's -- where it ends abruptly, the collection reveals the silent stories of a growing city through the eyes of an admirer.
