In this current book I take a totally new approach for me and have tried my hand at a few different forms of poetry. As you read the poems in this book, I hope you will be motivated to learn more about these different forms. I decided to experiment with seven distinct types. I chose seven because I believe seven is a magical number. We see seven colors in a rainbow, seven notes in music, seven heavens, seven wonders of the world, and so on. Number seven is connected with something divine and special. So thinking along these lines, I decided to experiment with seven types.
