This book reflects my personal relationship with G-d through my art, essays, poetry and insights. Like the book of Genesis, which first recounts creation from the point of view of G-d’s strength and then from G-d’s loving kindness, the book is designed from two vantage points: First from the top down – using the Ten Sefirot (life forces) to explore the point of view of the Creator. Much like an artist has a blank canvass on which to paint, the ten sefirot give a rich palette from which to design the world. The second part looks from bottom up – using the days of the week to explore Man’s point of view of creation.
Larry Seidman began painting 30 years ago. In addition to producing art, he has used his work therapeutically for many years through non-traditional channels. He has used collage to heal wounds from losses for his patrons and designed facilitation sessions using art as a transformative and self awareness tool.
