Since 1995, enamel artist Mary Klein has created imagery of multicultural goddesses. She has used her own image as the core of these cloisonne wall pieces and added her own familiars to each image. This book chronicles these images, their development, techniques used to achieve certain imagery, and how this work has empowered the artist. More than a pretty picture book, descriptions of techniques the artist has used makes this an instruction book for enamel artists as well.
I've been an artist all my life. I like it that way. I also like being able to put my photos of work in a book to share pix, thoughts, with others. When I am not in my studio working, I am playing with my dog, or working in the garden or pursuing some other "do-gooder" task.
