Life on a Texas farm in the early years of the twentieth century was a daily struggle. Nannie Alva Myhand Powell (1893-1989) wrote a fascinating journal about day to day challenges, joys and heartaches. Here is her story.
Heather Bryce is a native Texan with degrees in Electrical Engineering, Business, Anatomy, and Chiropractic. She has had a number of careers, including engineering, marketing, management, owning a Chiropractic clinic, teaching and writing. She lives in Texas with her husband, Bill, and son. She tries to escape as often as possible. Her daughter lives all over the world, but is presently in Washington D.C.
