I am retired and live on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula of Washington. My goal is to give back to this world for my own wonderful life. Although I do participate and volunteer in many social justice and non-profit endeavors, it never seems enough. I think that our species can learn acceptance from the animal kingdom and I tried to portray that by telling the story of Mikey.

Although I love to write, I don't find time enough for it. I find that retired life is much too busy!

I am an animal lover and have had many animals in my lifetime. Mikey, the Vietnamese Pot Belly pig was the most interesting, bright, and wonderful animal I have been lucky enough to know.
