Family Secrets is both personal and universal in exploring my memories and my relationship to my family. The book is a reminder of how my family’s history is also a part of the larger immigrant experience in the United States. It reflects both the connections and conflicts within generations. Family Secrets contains old family photographs and twenty-one photographs made specifically by me for this project.
