A book of paintings by the artist Herb Edwards, featuring paintings created during the years he lived and taught in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
I was born in Brownsville, PA in 1940. I have an BFA from The University of New Mexico and an MFA from Pratt Institute. I taught for 19 years at Brookdale Community College in New Jersey. In 1989 I retired from teaching to concentrate my full time and energy on painting. My painting subject matter consists mostly of figures in the environment, still life and the landscapes of New Mexico, Cape Cod, New Jersey, and Maine. I reside on Cape Cod with my wife, the expressionist painter Lillia Frantin.
