Acerca del libro
In the summer of 2011 I realized that my childhood memories were disappearing, not because I was forgetting of what happened, but because the places this took place were rapidly being reconstituted and rebuilt. Ever since Bulgaria got out of Communism in 1991 the process of development, particularly near the seaside, has been so rapid that soon nothing will bare any resemblance to how it was only 20 years ago. I set out in search of my childhood, but ended up with a typology that represents the time gone by. I found it in the faces of shacks scattered about, abandoned.
