I am an artist and an occasional poet.

My love of the sea, as well as tropical climates, is reflected in much of my work.

I like to create images and experiences through my art and poetry that provide the viewer or reader with an escape from the stresses of everyday life. Many of my paintings and poems have a whimsical quality.

I create often from my imagination, and enjoy combining fantasy and realism that weave together the beauty of nature, and its magic and mystery.

The lure of the ocean has always pulled at me. I spent many childhood summer holidays by the sea, lived for a year on sailboats while sailing a third of the way around the world, and have lived on the coast in California for more than thirty years.
