Billie Dean Shoemate III was born August 20th, 1983 in San Diego, California. He comes from a long line of artists and musicians that have blown apart the Southern California music scene during the 80's and 90's. Moving to Corydon, Iowa when he was just 13, Billie began his writing and music career. Forming an old-school metal band called SALVAGED, Billie toured across Iowa, making a series of acclaimed albums. Around the time he was 14 years old, Billie began writing short stories and attending young writer's conferences. Never having a desire to publish, Billie spent the time to truly hone in his craft, hoping to one day frighten the masses with horror novels of the likes he grew up appreciating.
Now in his late twenties, Billie now resides in Paducah, Kentucky with his two children Xander and Annabelle. He is the founder of Asylum817 Productions in Paducah, a publishing company that is a revolution of its own.
