After a visit to a museum, two girls decide they would love to have their portrait painted by Renoir and embark in a time travel experience, visiting the painter's favorite places.

Discovers photography through an Agfa Silette offered for his first communion. Shoots his first assignment age 12 when Soviet Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin stopped in Rouen during his visit to France which prompts him to become a reporter. From 1971 until 1977, works in the local press in Normandy (Journal d’Elbeuf, Pays d’Auge, Paris-Normandie, Paris-Mantes) as reporter and photojournalist.
Joins the international service of Reuters in London in 1978. Posted to London, Paris, Moscow and Kabul.
Opens Reuters Moscow photo bureau in 1987. Chief Photographer Soviet Union from 1987 to 1990. Covers the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan in 1989. Covers Mikhaïl Gobachev’s trips abroad.
Rebases in France in 1992. Launches his own publishing venture INGED, L’Ingénierie éditoriale, a service provider for the publishing industry (layouts, typesetting, translation, management of editorial projets for universities : www.inged.fr).
Teaches photography and printed communication at CFA ISD-Flaubert.
