This book documents a series of silhouetted crow and salmon artworks created primarily during the period between 1975 and 1984 when Buster Simpson had a succession of studios in and around the Pike Place Market in Seattle. The crow and the salmon, totemic northwest symbols, served as both urban decoy and lure, as well as being tangential to his other more public artwork.
