I have been photographing the landscape since 1976 when I was 12 years old. I have used a whole array of cameras from a Kodak 110 instamatic, to a Zone VI 4x5.
I have been involved with the Boy Scouts of America for the past 20 years, and have a real love for the outdoors.
This book is comprised of my latest trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico in July of 2009. The photos were taken with my Nikon D70. I had to lose some extra weight just so I could take this camera with me. As Ansel Adams said, "Always take the biggest camera you can carry".
