Optical Allusions is a compilation of my photography over the last 6 years, covering macro experiments, travel, landscape and animal portraits.
In 2009 I decided to start taking my photography more seriously. I joined a local camera club, upgraded to a Nikon D90 and taught myself Photoshop via magazine tutorials. This culminated in my first book, a story of a week in France, in May 2010. In Feb 2012 I produced a compilation of my photography efforts called Optical Allusions. An upgrade to the Nikon D600 in Nov 2012 and the addition of a Sigma 50-500mm lens led to a trip to Costa Rica and a focus on wildlife photography.
