Paslapanne is the Tiwa word for what is more commonly known as the Rio Grande river. This book was photographed in a area surrounding the river levees in the upper valley in El Paso, Texas. Some of the images were from 2009, summer and autumn.
I am a nature/landscape photographer based in the Southwest USA. My images are not bound with myth, politics, tradition or current fads. Instead they are plantings and vistas that reflect the beauty of nature, it's abundance and neutrality in human projections.
