A Fragile Conversation". is an 80 page full color book featuring the art work and 9 selected associated poems by Dianne Bowen with Foreword and text by Leah Oates, Station Independent Projects.com.

This is the second book released on her work. The first, an archival edition printed on archival photographic paper also included 9 signed and numbered books with an original 5 3/4" x 6 1/2" drawing on mylar. Foreword by Peter Duhon Jr., Art Critic, Curator and Director of artcomments.com a contemporary art blog. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, she lives and works in the East Village, NY.

Dianne Bowen

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Dianne Bowen is a multi-media artist living and working in the East Village, NY. Her works are exhibited nationally and abroad in solo and group exhibitions as well as being reviewed on-line, radio, film and in print. She studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York. In 2008 she completed her first large scale installation in Woodstock, NY while there as a resident in the Byrdcliffe Residency Program. Bowen is a painter by nature, but has been focused on drawing since 2006. She pushes the boundaries of drawing and mark making responding to the world around her.
