A close look at many of the wild creatures from 3 of Kenya's National Parks, this book brings home the drama and emotion that one can feel when personally experiencing the sights and sounds of an intimate visit with these animals. Experience Samburu, Nakuru, and the Mara in a special way, everything from families of baby Ostriches and Kit foxes, to young Elephants struggling to cross a powerful river, to Lions battling for domination. These are images you will never forget.

Donn Dobkin was introduced to photography in high school. He had always been attracted to both art and wildlife; his photographic career truly began, however, during his first visit to Kenya and Tanzania in 1997. The spectacular world that he had previously only imagined was now very, very real, and that experience was the catalyst for his ensuing photographic endeavors. Since that time his award-winning work has been featured in numerous galleries and publications, with subjects and themes ranging from wildlife to portraiture to abstract photographic art. Donn Dobkin Photography now offers prints for sale, a photo book entitled 2 1/2 Weeks in Kenya, and photographic services specializing in portraiture. For more information please visit
