Acerca del libro
This is a collection of 50 colorful paintings of Jay Say. This artist is born with a red-green color vision deficiency of the type that is found in 8% of men. The diagnosis was established by the famous color vision specialist Dr Alfred Pinckers. However, the images in this book show that this type of color blindness is not really a handicap.
This book is dedicated to my friend and colleague, the late Dr Alfred Pinckers, MD, PhD (1939-1999). He was an internationally recognized expert in the field of color vision research and worked as an ophthalmologist at the Institute of Ophthalmology, Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
