Black & White Edition. This Cookbook is much more than just a collection of easy to make and tasty recipes, presented by our friends who live all around the world. It contains fun and interesting historic facts as well as unique family stories about Russian and East European cooking.
Its concept is clear and simple - we all are sharing our most favorite and proven recipes kept in our families for generations and which we are using (or used some time ago) when cooking for our friends and family here, in the US. There were only two criteria on which our choice of entries was made - (1) the dish should not require any special cooking skills for its preparation, and (2) all necessary ingredients should be readily available in a local supermarket.
