I'm a 62 year old mother of two, grandmother of 8 and after years of hiatus, I've taken up the pen again and find that the world is more beautiful, more interesting, more wondrous than ever before. I can say honestly that the impetus to write again came from the influence of one special woman and I thank her for her encouragement and her inspiration.

To select from the many poets I love only a few is almost an impossible task but I do admire Edna St. Vincent Millay, Carl Sandburg, TS Eliot, Wallace Stevens, Pablo Neruda, Emily Dickenson, Whitman, Sylvia Plath, the classics like Wordsworth, Keats, Browning, Wadsworth. Philosophically I like Emerson, Americans Sam Keen and Joseph Campbell.
