The poetry in this book relates very well to any veteran and the experiences a veteran can have. I enjoyed every poem, but three of them deserve special attention here. Those three are "Sea Verses," "American Attitude," and "Helen's Birthday 1976."

I absolutely recommend this book to anyone with a love of America, a sense of patriotism, or any old sailor with a love for the sea.
