Professional Women Photographers (PWP) is a 501 (c) (3) organization incorporated in the state of New York.

Founded in the mid 70's, the mission of PWP is the advancement of women photographers through the creation of a dynamic and supportive environment that promotes public interest in photography.

Professional Women Photographers members include many full time working photographers as well as photographers who work part-time both in fine art and commercial areas and in related fields as photo editors, photo researchers and curators.
