Eugene Clark Real Art - 80 pages, full-color, coffee table style hard cover book, containing Clark's personal work spanning over 20 years, including drawings, paintings, sketchbook work, printmaking, installations, performance art, and figurative works. He exemplifies the spirit of art making through his wide range of imagery and interest in cross-cultural identity realized by his travels through Morocco, Kenya, Ireland, Greece, Japan, Spain, The Netherlands, France, Italy, Jamaica, Zanzibar, Canada, and the U.S.
Clark worked closely with Russell Keeter, his mentor, in Detroit, Michigan, in the early 80's, studying drawing and painting. He lived and worked in New York City in the mid 90's, forming the art duo "Artists on Pavement" performing and exhibiting on the streets, in small theaters, and galleries, in Soho and upper Manhattan.
