PrintMatters is a Houston arts organization started by five artists who have exhibited locally and nationally and share a love of printmaking. Our goals are to promote traditional and non-traditional printmaking, encourage print collecting, and further the professional growth of our members.

In order to meet these goals, we will:
• sponsor an annual membership show
• serve as a resource for printmaking information and exhibition opportunities through a quarterly newsletter, a website, and e-mail alerts
• coordinate printmaking workshops
• encourage collaboration, dialog, and networking among our members
• facilitate monthly critique sessions, demonstrations, and discussions

Like all new organizations we are looking for members who are willing to contribute their time and various skills to these goals. There is a lot of work ahead, but we promise to do it with laughter and a sense of community.
