Acerca del libro
Whangamata Rugby and Sports had huge plans for their 2011 season. Old boy Leon Holden, a Heineken Cup and English Premiership winning coach with London Wasps was returning to help coach the club, which in 2010 had won the Thames Valley second division title.
Joining Holden on the coaching front was the 2010 champion coach Richard Laurenson and 1995 championship winning flyhalf Paul Clark. Club legend, and 1995 coach, Harry Pitt was also called back to the colours to manage the team. Former player and some time manager Jason Bartley was the final member to round out the fish heads assembled.
All that was left was to assemble a playing squad for the coaching staff to meld into a championship winning team.
Follow the Whangamata season, from the highs of the close fought wins, to the lows of the last minute losses in matches where the supporters always say...
"we should have won that one"...
