I consider myself to be a "plein air "artist, painting on location in all seasons. The warm days of spring and summer, the light of fall and the long shadows of winter contribute to the immediacy of my paintings.
As a native Ontarian, I feel a strong affinity for the small villages and towns and the ever changing landscape. They provide me with a sense of belonging and motivate me in my landscape oil painting.
