Acerca del libro
My Dear Children is the first volume of Letters of the Landau Family, a tale told using letters, photos, sketches, and documents that were saved through the generations in the family trunks, including letters written by Grandpa John Landau to his grandchildren in Missouri in 1896, postcards written by his daughter-in-law Carrie Vaughn Landau to her daughters when she lived in Porterville and Bakersfield about 1915, and hundreds of photos of the entire family from the late 1800’s through the 1930’s. Reading the letters that they shared with each other we follow four generations as they grow up, get married, and have children of their own, weaving a story that gives us a sense of how they lived, who they were, and how they loved.
