Born in Texas, Ron grew up on a farm and first became interested in photography at eighteen when his parents gave him a 35mm camera. He spent four years in the US Air Force and returned to marry Sharon. Finished his degree at Texas Tech and spent thirty years teaching and coaching in the public schools of Texas. Ron is now retired, selling real estate and expanding his skill as a photographer. Sharon is also an accomplished photographer. They both enjoy traveling and photography. The couple have two children and five grand children.
