The book is photographic journey with images and text on the world famous Festiniog Railway. The railway was a pioneer of all things narrow gauge, this being reflected in the various narrow gauge railways around the world.
Rescued by volunteers in the early 1950's, the railway is one of North Wales' major tourist attractions.

I took up photography back in 2002, which came about through cycle racing all over Wales and th UK.Even when i was racing i often thought it would be nice to capture some of the stunning scenery i was speeding through,so when i decided to take a break from the sport i bought myself a battered old 35mm and taught myself through trial and error and a lot of photography magazines. In 2004 i made the switch to digital and haven't looked back.
My main interest is landscapes, in particular old industry and how nature is slowly reclaiming the derelict remains; but i enjoy shooting steam railways, graffiti, city scapes and seaside/coastal views.
