Acerca del creador
Award-winning and internationally recognized photographer, Chris Wachtelhausen has traveled extensively, capturing unique and awe-inspiring photographs. He primarily shoots landscapes, architecture and cityscapes, and has expanded his focus to include a variety of different subjects under low-light and night time conditions. Urban decay being one of those subjects. As can be seen throughout his galleries, a constant theme to Chris' work includes landscapes with dramatic cloud formations as well as capturing motion by either freezing or blurring the action. Often he will blend the cloud and motion themes together to give viewers the impression of actually being there. Chris was a finalist in the Outdoor Photographer Nature's Colors Contest and won a Bronze Award in the 2009 International Aperture Awards. Earlier in the year, he was a finalist in the 2009 Photographers Forum's Spring Contest and was published in the book Best of Photography 2009.
