*Revised Edition* This ABC book explores and explains the history, culture, geography, flora and fauna of South Africa, with glimpses of Botswana (Chobe National Park) and Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls).
I have been writing, editing, and publishing for children and adults since 1984 professionally, most recently as Senior VP and Publisher of Hampton-Brown (now National Geographic School Publishing). Aside: I did write a sequel to Charlotte's Web in the summer between 3rd and 4th grades....
Since 2008, I have been volunteering as an editor for nonprofits, writing, studying photography, investing in the Slow Money movement, traveling around the U.S. by RV (55,000 miles and counting), working toward marriage equality, and playing with German shepherd dogs. Life is good.
