Acerca del libro
This is a pretty personal story that tries to try to create a tension between the written and the visual language, between words and photographs.
The books explores various levels of discourse: reminiscence, essay, short story and reportage. It combines documentary photography, photojournalism, portraiture and landscape.
Fifty years of Romanian comunism represented a little Ice Age. While the whole world was marching trimphantly in a certain direction, in Romania the time stopped.
The comunist regime was obsessed by uprooting the peasants from their environment and place them in block of flats to build socialism. This crazy idea reshaped the minds of the people and their whole world was turned. upsidedown forever.
And nothing was ever the same again, ever after.
