Just finished reading the book! Nice read! And if you are a avid reader, you can read through it in one afternoon. The content was interesting throughout. I love the humor this writer places throughout. Although it is a serious tragedy what this little girl and many others went through, you can tell that what gave her strength to endure and overcome her treatment was her ability to find a humorous side to life.
To this day, I find it appalling what some people will call "christianity" and then lead a life of hatred, and cruelty in the name of Christ! There- by portraying God as this strict overbearing and harsh ruler with no compassion.
The book gets a thumbs up from me, a true story with lessons to learn about overcoming hardship and not letting the actions of the few destroy your joy for tomorrow!
