LUCE is a collective work by 25 final-year students of BA Photography and Visual Arts at the Libera Accademia di Belle Arti of Florence.
Called to study the artistic phenomenon of light in photography, LUCE's young authors produced a stunning, instense body of work reflecting on six different themes: the Body, the Face, Indoors, Landscape, The City and Abstractions - balancing between a taste for contemporary research in visual arts and a deep and loving knowledge of the masters.
The book was edited in class by the students and their lecturers Lorenzo Giotti and Agnese Morganti over the academic year 2010-2011.
