Riding in Himalayas has been every motorcyclist true dream but some of the places are beyond the general reach of us all.
One of the similar place deep in the high himalayas is Shipki La located on the age old traditional trade route between India - Tibet which is no more a general route.
With a help of a friend I was able to plan this journey and complete it when I ran into trouble for my being on the border as this is not a general place for any tourist or traveller to be there. Best of all is this is still a very much restricted spot for its own country people.
Interesting accounts with pictures of the most unseen places.
