This book presents a photographer's portfolio of natural history portraits. The images are an intimate examination of species across the entire animal kingdom. The title - 'face to face' says it all, but the book also includes a narrative that explores the genre of wildlife photography as well as offering up a small section on the wider realm that these species inhabit. That is to say, a small section is devoted to the art and technique of landscape photography.
