Joshua Bell holds a B.A. from Saint Joseph's College of Maine in Political Science and Classics, a M.S. in Political Science from Suffolk University, and a M.A. in American History from Providence College.

He is currently conducting interviews with World War II Veterans about their experiences in the Army Specialized Training Program unit assigned to Providence College from July 1943 to March 1944 for a forthcoming publication.
