Hawkwood is a small woodland and farm in Chislehurst, in the heart of suburbia.

This book contains a poem written by the author in response to her feelings about the place, together with photographs she has taken on her many walks there with her dog.

It is an expression of the importance of spaces like this in suburban London, being in the heart of the London Borough of Bromley.
