This book, created by Rachelle Felzien, is one in a set of 30
unique volumes that explore a variety of departments at Parsons the
New School for Design. The books, created by Freshmen in a Foundation
class called Laboratory, were developed through a process of research
and interviews. Each represents an investigation into the author's
department of interest and was created from the point of view of the
author and/or the subjects that they interviewed. The goal of
creating the book was to answer questions about a field of study
prior to choosing a major and also to become a resource for other
Foundation students and prospective Parsons students in the future.
