When Jackie Theibert’s sister Anne wrote this story in middle school, her teacher raved that it would make a great children’s book. As an animation major at Columbus College of Art and Design, Jackie turned her sister’s story into a lively animated poem. She gave the characters the same nicknames that her oldest brother Erik had called Anne and Jackie as children, and created colorful illustrations to highlight their expressive personalities and their tropical island home. This story teaches a valuable lesson while entertaining and engaging people of all ages.
