Connell J. Brown has been associated with the cattle industry in Arkansas for over 75 years. He is the recipient of a Distinguished Service Award from the Arkansas Cattlemen’s Association and the Southern Association of Animal Science and has published over four hundred scientific and popular articles on genetics and breeding. A 1994 inductee into the Arkansas Agricultural Hall of Fame, he is University Professor Emeritus from the University of Arkansas Department of Animal Science. Dr. Brown lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with his wife, Dexter.
