Acerca del libro
The book is Illustrated extensively with Michael's own images of the local wildlife and natural landscapes: the author concentrates particularly on his love of Butterflies and Birds whilst taking in the wonders of a landscape seen for the first time.
The book concentrates on three areas of Southern Spain - from the region which includes the town of Alpandeire and the city of Ronda: the rugged landscape of Sierra Crestellina with the beautiful town of Casares and the outskirts of Malaga: and finally to the Rock of Gibraltar and the unusual combination of Barbary Apes, the excitement of wild dolphins and the exotic Two-Tailed Pasha butterfly.

Acerca del creador
I am an artist, photographer and sculptor. I was born in Surrey, England in 1964 and I currently am based in Cardiff, Wales (UK) with my wife Karen. I've always enjoyed painting, drawing, sculpture and then photography and I've always enjoyed being out in the countryside whether this means studying nature, going for a walk or going abroad. After school in Weybridge (Surrey) I completed a Diploma in Art & Design at Epsom College and then a BA (hons) specialising in Painting at West Surrey College (Farnham) . I re-located to the lovely landscape of Wales in 2002, making sure I was near good landscape, good cinemas and a Championship Golf Course (Celtic Manor)! My interests include landscape photography (specialising in panoramas and the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales), nature photography (specialising in British and European butterflies) and also golf photography. I sculpted the Ivor Allchurch monument at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea which was unveiled in 2005.
