The Wolf Lookalike dog has come a long way in the last 30 years but not without controversy.

The author discusses the history of this type of dog, from 5 imported dogs with dubious origins, wolf hybrid claims and the subsequent court case, to the volatile politics between the various 'breed' clubs in more recent times.

Living with a pack of Wolf Lookalikes is described in great detail and the reader is taken through the process of choosing a puppy, preparations for taking an adopted Wolf Lookalike puppy home and everything a new owner needs to know about diet, health and training.

This unique book is illustrated throughout with stunning colour photographs of the authors pack and is an essential read for anyone considering owning one of these very special dogs.

Sandra Curry
Sansorrella Boston, Lincolnshire, UK
After raising five lovely children I got back into the dog world by breeding and showing Shetland Sheepdogs, before finding the Northern Inuit dog. These dogs completely changed my life and my wolf lookalikes and wolfdogs soon became the centre of my world. One dog in particular, Sky, taught me everything I know about canine body language and behaviour. She is my soulmate and the inspiration for writing my first book on the subject of Wolf Lookalike dogs. Sky is an old lady now and following the discovery of a tumour she is on borrowed time. This book is dedicated to this wonderful companion who will leave an enormous hole in my life. xxx
