In mid September the town of Winfield, Kansas is filled with music day and night. Over a week’s time people of all ages make the journey to share in the experience of Walnut Valley Music Festival. The festival, known to most as Winfield, celebrates the rich traditions of bluegrass and folk music.

“Winfield” is a photographic exploration of Winfield bluegrass music festival. Featuring an introduction by Tom James, the book is the third in a limited edition three volume sample series. The series stands as an introduction to the work of Ryan Hodgson-Rigsbee and a glimpse into a bigger picture still to come.
