Somewhere between sentimentality and laziness breeds the hoarding instinct, by which our lives a cluttered with myriad objects of no current use or relevance to our lives. However, these objects have a story, a history, and stand as totems for a bygone time. In “Four broken watches” I have taken a retrospective look at some of these items and collated them here to be shared.
