The educational photobook documents a journey to the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic peninsula home to Adélie, Gentoo, Chinstrap, and Macaroni penguins, brown skuas, sheathbills, Artic turns, leopard seals, massive tabular and non-tabular icebergs, sea ice.
The trip includes visits to Whaller's Bay and the remains of the whaling station and British research station on Deception island, King George Island, Joinville Island, Paulet island, Elephant island, The tour visits the Chinese Great Wall Station, the Russian Bellingshausen Station with its East Orthodox Trinity Church, the Chilean Presidente Eduardo Frei Montalva Station, and the Korean King Sejong Research Station.
